When considering the costs of self-publishing, please remember that:
- a single ISBN (mandatory for your book) can cost you £91,
- cover design costs start at £99 upwards for a digital cover alone,
-formatting your book will either require specialist software, which you will have to purchase and master, or, book formatter costs of £50+.
The baseline cost of publishing just a digital version of your book in a professional way, therefore, will cost at least £240, without even factoring in the time and knowledge needed to master uploading to Amazon KDP, Ingram Spark, or your other chosen self-publishing platform...

Digital package £500
The digital only package includes:
1. Full file formatting for digital publication, including a bespoke copyright page.
2. A complete book cover design for digital publication.
3. Publication via I.M. Books, an independent imprint.
4. inclusion on Nielsens Pubweb, enabling bookstore retailers to find and purchase your book.
5. Setting up of your Amazon KDP account and uploading of your digital file, cover and book/pricing information.
6. A book 'blurb' especially written for your book and its Amazon page.
7. The right keywords and book categories identified as relevant to your book.
8. Your Amazon Author Central page set up - either on .com or .co.uk, depending on where you are based can be set up for a small additional premium of £75 per site.
Print book only £600
The print only package includes: 1. Full file formatting for print publication, including a bespoke copyright page.
2. A complete book cover design for print publication, including back cover 'blurb'.
3. An ISBN and publication via I.M. Books, an independent imprint.
4. Inclusion on Nielsens Pubweb, enabling bookstore retailers to find and purchase your book.
5. Setting up of your Amazon KDP account and uploading of your print file, cover and book/pricing information.

Print+ digital £1000

Illustrated/ + photos
Additional formatting is required to place images within text when preparing books for digital or print publication. If your book contains images, simply add the number of images it contains at £12 per image and the appropriate formatting adjustments will be made.
